BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02186 ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA   DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2008  ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME   STEEP MORNING TEMPERATURE INVERSION THIS MORNING WARMER AIR ARRIVING TODAY UNDER OVERCAST SKIES AFTER VERY COLD DAY FOR NOVEMBER 2ND   Early morning low temperatures were frosty cold beneath a rather sharp temperature inversion. Norwood Airport had 21 degrees and Taunton Airport was 24 degrees.  Boston's Logan Airport reached 32 for the first time this season.  Meanwhile here  atop Blue Hill the low reading barely reached 32 degrees.  Yesterday was a very cold day for early November averaging 10 degrees below normal. A layer of low clouds was completely shutting out any sun- shine today but temperatures had risen to the upper 40's with southerly winds. This comes after a cold 43-degree maximum yesterday despite many hours of bright sunshine.    Today's observations:   7 A.M.
