ANOTHER VERY SUNNY DAY IN A LONG STRETCH OF SUNNY DAYS
HIGH TEMPERATURES HELD TO LOW TO MID-70S
 
Today marks the 8th day out of the past 12 to have more
than 90% of the possible bright sunshine.  The monthly
sunshine percentage is now over 60% for the month as a 
whole after being just 43% for the half of August. Only 
one day has had any rainfall since the 16th totaling 
only 0.05 inch on the 19th. Still, though, August has 
a surplus of rainfall with 4.50 inches, over one inch
above normal to date.
 
A gentle seabreeze is holding temperatures in the low to 
middle 70's for high readings and the air continues dry 
again today with dew points in the upper 40's. Visibility
is not quite as good as the 80 miles of yesterday but still
at 70 to 75 miles.
