Yesterday was the mildest in this stretch of of unseasonably mild days with a high reading of 64 degrees. The past four days have a total departure of plus 46 degrees and thus have averaged 11 degrees warmer than normal. The month turned the corner several days ago from 2 degrees colder than normal to now more than 3 degrees warmer than the average. Rising temperatures last night left the overnight low reading of 53 degrees occurring before midnight and an extremely mild low of 57 degrees since midnight with a light southeast wind. A brief early morning shower left a trace of rain. A thunderstorm began at 10:15 a.m. this morning with a few rumbles heard to our southeast.
