Several of our rain gages recorded a few hundredths of an inch of "condensation", not precipitation. Yesterday was our warmest day to be recorded so far this month, with a mean temperature of 67 degrees it was 12 degrees warmer than normal and thus the first eight days of October are now averaging 8 degrees warmer than normal. Today may wind up fifteen degrees or more warmer than normal. During the first five days of October we've recorded 82% of the possible bright sunshine.
