About half of the rain fell in the hour from midnight to 1 AM EDT. Drier air is moving in today with the dew point dropping to the mid 40s and the visibility up to more than 50 miles. The sky has been beautifully filled with high cirrus clouds of many forms under low level cumulus and stratocumulus.
