A dim sun has appeared occasionally through low and mid-level clouds this morning. Showers are occuring mostly to the NW and no precipitation has been recorded here today as of noon. A thunderstorm from 9-11 PM EDT on Friday brought 0.32 inch of rainfall as measured in our standard gage. Our new automated weighing gage also recorded 0.32 inch, which compares exactly with our manual measurement. This same thunderstorm dropped 1.75 inches in Milton a few miles to the north of the Observatory. The month continues close to normal for mean temperature and more the 1.5 inches below normal for precipitation. Today's observations: 8 A.M.
