Heavier rain of 1-2 inches fell just south and east of here from Sharon to Braintree to Hingham. Clouds and fog have kept the temperature in the low 70s, though high humidity with a dew point of 73 at 2 PM EDT and an approaching cold front are initiating the thunderstorms.
