The previous record for 90 degree days in August was 10 in 1944. The seasonal total for 90 degree days of 22 ties the record for the most in any season with 1949. The highest August barometric pressure on record since at least 1942 was recorded on the last day of the month with 30.60 inches corrected to mean sea level.
