A backdoor cold front slipped through the area yesterday just after noon with a temperature drop from the low 50s to the low 40s, however the average temperature for the day was still 11 degrees above normal. The total departure for the month is up to 28, thus the month is averaging 4 degrees above normal daily. Despite the perceptional chill today, thus far we are still averaging above normal. Temperatures tomorrow are forecast to get into the low to mid 60s, the record high for the date is 71 degrees, so it's unlikely we'll approach that. Either way, it'll be warm for this time of year.
