JUNE NOW 5 DEGREES COLDER THAN NORMAL JUNE RAINFALL NOW 2 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL AT 4 INCHES.... It was certainly great to see the sun today with temperatures rising into the 70's after all of unseasonably cool and wet weather over the week-end. It's been a cold and wet June through the first half of the month. The cold climaxed over the week-end with a record low maximum temperature being equaled on Sat. June 15th at 52 degrees. The low reading of 46 degrees early Sunday morning was but 2 degrees shy of the record low temperature for the date. Last week we had a daily maximum temperature of 53 degrees which just missed the record low maximum by one degree. TODAY'S OBSERVATIONS.... 6/17/2002 MON 8 A.M.
