The mercury still remains above normal as our high so far today has reached 86 degrees as compared to our normal high for today, which is 82. The dewpoint over the past twenty four hours has risen from the mid 50's into the upper 60's. Visibility at the Observatory has worsened during the day to say the least. High cirrus clouds have obstructed our view of the sky as well as some lower cumulus clouds which have begun to work their way into the area. Precipitation remains below normal but may be increased due to the thunderstorms which are predicted to enter the area later today. OBSERVATIONS TODAY..... 8 A.M.
