DAILY DISCUSSION... 7/12/2002..2 P.M.

The haze and high thin clouds have replaced the beautiful blue skies of the
past two days, which obstructs our view of the Monadnock's from the top of
the Observatory. Also, we have noticed a slight rise in temperature, yet
the mercury still remains below normal.

Temperatures continue to remain in the low to mid 70's with pleasant dew
points in the lower 50's - A sweet escape of the recent hot weather! The
humidity throughout the day continues to remain near 45%.

Although we have had beautiful weather so far this July, we could use some
precipitation as we remain below normal for the month as well as for the year.
